Summer Wine Down
Lisa used her wine knowledge and creative skills by partnering with an Arts Collective to create an elegant five course food /wine / music pairing event as a fundraiser. First, I developed the an overall food and wine plan, then worked with the chef to create a menu with flavors to complement the wines. Next, I chose wines from five different countries and styles. And finally, I worked with the Artistic Director Kyle Price who chose composers and musical arrangements from the country of wine origin which matched wine styles. The evening included a sparkling wine from Tasmania, Australia, a Chablis from France, a Bordeaux Blend from Washington State/USA, a Ripasso from Italy and finally a Sauternes from France. Overwhelmingly our guests rated the evening as exceeding their expectations.
